Orchard Beach Aviation has partnered with The Dempsey Manor Inn to conduct private scenic flights over beautiful Lake Michigan. Air tours are unmatched for taking in the scope of the Great Lake, Lake Michigan’s beaches and dunes, Manistee, the Manistee National Forest, rolling countryside, villages of the Northwest, Portage Lake and surrounding areas from an eagle’s eye view.
Flights are flown over two routes: Downtown Manistee with the Lake Michigan shoreline, or the Onekama/Portage Lake area. Special customized-flight requests at additional cost are more than welcome and we will be happy to oblige as best we can.
Flights are conducted all year round from the Manistee County Blacker Airport, a seven minute drive from The Dempsey Manor.
An air sightseeing tour/Dempsey Manor stay makes a great gift to be enjoyed by all ages and gift certificates are available. During the summer, flights are available 10am to 6pm most days. Other flight-time windows vary by season.
